How to Use this Free Printable Book Journal

Since this is a free printable, as soon as you download it you can get started using it right away! All you have to do is print it out. You can print it on your printer at home, or if you prefer you could instead get it printed at an office supply store or a printing store near you.

But to get the most out of this free reading log printable, you’ll want to have some sort of container to place it in…rather than just having loose pages everywhere! To do this, you have a couple of options.

Your first option is to get a 3-ring binder, and then hole punch the journal pages and place them inside. You can get a basic white binder, go with a colorful binder instead, or get binders with fun patterns or beautiful fabric. It’s completely up to you!

Your second option is to have it spiral bound at an office supply store, like Staples. It should only cost a few dollars and will look amazing and professional!

The binder method is great for flexibility, as it allows you to print out new pages whenever you want and then easily add these pages into your journal. However, if you want it to look a bit more professional, then binding it at an office supply store is definitely the way to go! If you decide to go the spiral binding route, you’ll need to decide upfront how many of each journal page you want to include as you won’t be able to change this easily after it is bound.

How to Resize the Free Printable Reading Tracker

This reading tracker printable comes sized for an 8.5×11″ sheet of paper, but what if you need it in a different size? What if you want it to match up with a planner you already have so you can add it into your current journal instead of creating a new one?

Not to worry, it is easy to resize the document when printing. This handy guide to the three methods of resizing printables will help you print to the size you want in a snap! (You’ll even find a guide there to printing for specific popular planners, like the Happy Planners, Erin Condren Planners, Filofax Planners, and more!).
