Being at Modesto Junior College has been a wonderful experience that has taught me a lot about how to better myself in the future. I participated in the performing arts program, and all of the professors made me feel safe and made my experience truly wonderful. I wish they would provide more options in the cafeteria, particularly healthy options.

MJC has plenty of resources that are easily accessible to students. I often use the Student Center resources such as the Transfer Center and career counseling to help me stay on track during my transfer process to a four-year institution. I also meet with my counselor every semester to plan out the classes I need to complete. Overall, MJC has several resources that are provided to students to succeed in their higher education; however, these resources are often not utilized as they are not advertised well. More exposures of the school resources would be more beneficial to all the students and is the main change that I would like to see.
